Job requirements:
Education: Diploma and above in Mechanical Engineering, Electro Mechanics, Automotive, or related fields.
Training: Completion of a forklift operator training program with a valid forklift operator certification and forklift trainer certification from a recognized organization/institution.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or industrial setting or teaching forklift operation in a recognized institution with evidence of experience.
Knowledge: Thorough understanding of forklift operations, safety regulations, and best practices. Familiarity with different types of forklifts (e.g., T1, T2) and their specific operational requirements.
Communication Skills: Good communication skills in English and the local language (based on training areas) with the ability to convey information to trainees clearly and concisely.
Training Skills: Ability to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs covering all aspects of forklift operation, including safety procedures, maintenance, and load handling.
Safety: High sense of safety in training, ensuring trainees are aware of and adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
Physical Fitness: Physically capable of demonstrating proper forklift operation techniques, including operating a forklift for demonstration purposes.
Training Methods: Flexibility to adapt training methods to accommodate different styles and abilities among trainees.
Documentation: Ability to maintain accurate records of training sessions, including registration, attendance, assessments, and certifications issued to trainees.
Timeliness: Good time management skills, ensuring training sessions are provided based on assigned schedules.
Reporting: Practical experience in preparing informative training reports as per provided templates, maintaining standard quality.
